Brian Fuller is a Managing Director in ATI’s Value-Based Care Design and Delivery Practice. The VBC Design and Delivery practice sits at the intersection of strategy, policy, operational design and implementation, financial payment constructs and risk-based partnerships, assisting clients across the healthcare ecosystem on a variety of value-based care initiatives. Prior to joining ATI, Fuller was the CEO of Integrated Care Solutions, a technology-enabled care coordination company that partners with physician group practices, hospital systems, ACOs and payers to manage episodes of care under a variety of payment structures. He is a nationally recognized thought leader on the impact and importance of value-based care and post-acute care in new healthcare reform environments and a leading expert on care integration and partnership development across the continuum, including evaluating, contracting and implementing a variety of new payment models. He also focuses on improving post-acute integration, network development and operational models to better meet the goals of acute care hospital systems, ACOs, physician practice groups, payers and investors. He has been a featured expert, speaker or authored publications for the American Hospital Association, NPR, US News & World Report, Modern Healthcare, Hospital & Health Networks, Skilled Nursing and Home Health Care News, AHCA and McDermott Will & Emery Healthcare Private Equity among other leading healthcare organizations.
Fuller is also a nationally recognized expert in bundled payments as one of only a few individuals in the US who has successfully led provider and convener organizations participating with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), consulted with hospitals and post-acute providers on bundled payment participation and was selected by CMS to serve as an expert panelist in application review for the Bundled Payments for Care Improvement initiative.
Previously, Fuller has served in a number of senior executive positions in healthcare focused on value-based care, national consulting and for provider organizations including at Great Lakes Caring, one of the nation’s largest home health and hospice providers, naviHealth, a Cardinal Health company ranked #14 on the Fortune 500, Avalere Health based in Washington, DC and with Brooks Health, an integrated post-acute health system operating multiple inpatient, outpatient, home-based and physician practice business lines across Florida.
Fuller is a national speaker and author on a variety of healthcare topics including bundled payments, healthcare reform, post-acute care integration and value-based partnerships and is an American College of Healthcare Executives Fellow. In 2017, he was named one of healthcare’s rising stars by Becker’s Hospital Review.
