Jay is a Senior Managing Director and Seniors Housing Group Leader at JLL Capital Markets. Perennially ranked as one of the nation’s most successful Seniors Housing teams, Mr. Wagner is responsible for all Senior Housing related Capital Markets activities including, investment sales, equity joint ventures, and debt financings. During his career Jay has orchestrated over 450 transactions, representing more than $25 billion of investments and financings. Prior to JLL, Mr. Wagner led Cushman & Wakefield’s Senior Housing Capital Markets team. Jay started his career with CIBC World Markets working with the Structured Finance and Leveraged Finance teams in an advisory capacity helping to develop capital markets strategies for the firm’s large corporate and public sector clients in North America, Europe and Asia. Mr. Wagner holds a BA in Economics from Columbia University. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and sits on the Lifestyle Residential Development Council – +55. Mr. Wagner serves on the Finance Committee as a Trustee for Hebrew Senior Life, the third largest non-profit system in Massachusetts. He resides in Newton, MA with his wife and four children.
