How do I receive my conference badge?
You may pick up your badge onsite on Level 3 of the Omni Dallas Hotel beginning Tuesday, March 5 at 7:00 AM CT. NIC will no longer be mailing your credentials.

What is the NIC Badge Policy?
You will need your badge and lanyard at all times to move about the space, so please wear it at all times.
Badge swapping is not permitted. Anyone found wearing a badge that does not match his/her/their identification will be removed from the conference without a refund. In addition, the registration of any attendee whose badge is being worn by another individual will be forfeited. The NIC Conference does have security in place to ensure that only registered individuals have access to the conference space.
Keep your badge in a safe place. Replacement badges can be printed onsite at a cost of $150 to the attendee.

Do you allow on-site registration?
For the 2024 NIC Spring Conference, we are allowing on-site conference registration.

When does the Early Bird rate end?
To take advantage of Early Bird registration rates, registrations must be received by the NIC Registrar no later than January 10, at 11:59 PM PT.

Can I pay by check?
Yes, payments by check will be accepted until February 2, 2024. Registrations submitted using the check payment option are considered pending until payment is received.

To avoid cancellation, payment must be received within 7-10 business days of submitting online registration. In the event of cancellation, hotel rooms reserved at the NIC group rate may also be canceled by NIC. Conference re-registration will be at the current registration rates.

What is NIC's event registration cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be submitted online via the event registration site or by email to registrar@nic.org
Cancellations received by February 2, will be assessed a $295 administrative fee.
After February 2, 2024, no refunds will be granted.
In the event of registration cancellation, hotel rooms reserved at the NIC group rate may run the risk of also being cancelled. Conference re-registration will be at the current registration rates.

What is NIC's event registration replacement policy?
If you can no longer attend the 2024 NIC Spring Conference and your company would like to replace your registration with another colleague, a $295 administrative fee will be assessed.
The original registration will be canceled minus the $295 fee, and your company will be provided a code to honor the rate of the original registrant.

Is there a room block rate for the hotel?
NIC has reserved a limited number of rooms at a discounted rate for registered attendees at the Omni Dallas Hotel. The discounted rate ($289 per night for single/double occupancy + applicable taxes) will be available through February 1, 2024, or until the NIC room block is sold out.

How do I change/replace/cancel my hotel reservation?
Please contact the hotel directly for name changes, arrival/departure changes, and/or cancellations. Please refer to individual hotel confirmation emails for additional information. Cancellations received on or before February 1, 2024, will have deposits refunded. Deposits will be forfeited for no shows, and cancellations received after February 1, 2024.

What is the Networking Lounge Etiquette?
We kindly request attendees to observe good networking etiquette by the following policies:
- The only company signage or display materials permitted are those posted by NIC.
- Networking spaces must remain accessible and available at all times to all fellow conference attendees.
- Networking Lounges are accessible only by badged conference attendees.
