George Kutnerian is the Co-Founder, President & CEO of Wellpointe Inc. Operating at the intersection of healthcare and real estate, Wellpointe is a leading provider of affordable, boutique-style residential assisted living and related healthcare services that specializes in offering a coordinated and integrated system of care to high-acuity older adults with multiple chronic illnesses, including Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

Mr. Kutnerian has led the transformation of his family’s predecessor small-business into the largest owner-operator of residential assisted living homes in California. Wellpointe made its debut on Inc. 5000’s list of fastest growing private companies in America in 2023 and was named to the list for the third year in a row in 2025.

Mr. Kutnerian is also widely regarded as one of California’s top senior care public policy experts. He regularly provides expert testimony before the Senate and Assembly Committees on Human Services, Health, and Aging & Long-Term Care. Most recently, he was one of only 24 individuals named to California’s Medi-Cal Home and Community-Based Services Managed Care Integration Planning Workgroup.
Mr. Kutnerian received his B.S. (High Honors) from the University of California – Berkeley, an M.S. from Columbia University, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
