Larry Leisure is a Co-Founder and Co-Managing Director of Chicago Pacific Founders that is a Chicago and San Francisco based private equity fund focused on senior living, provider services, value based care, technology enabled services. He serves on the board of several CPF companies including Impcact Advisors, MyCare, Novum Behavioral Health, Recovery Ways and WellBe Senior Medical. In addition, he serves on the boards of several venture backed companies including BioIntelliSense, Grouper and Xsell Technologies.
He has had a distinguished career in healthcare serving in senior venture capital, private equity, management consulting and industry operating roles.
Organizations where he has held senior leadership positions have included Accenture where he was the Global Managing Partner for the Health Vertical, Price Waterhouse where he led their Employer and Payer Managed Care, Towers Perrin where he led their Group Benefits and Managed Care practices, Kaiser Foundation Health Plans where he oversaw national sales & account management. UnitedHealth Group where oversaw the Payer Segment for Optum Insight and Kleiner Perkins where he served as an Operating Partner within the Life Sciences & Digital Health Practice.
Over his career he has co founded several organizations including ADVI, the Washington, DC life sciences advisory firm, Jiff, the first digital health platform now a part of Castlight, EHIR (Employer Health Innovation Roundtable) which was acquired by World 50 and, finally, NearWater Growth LLC, an advisory & investment firm focused on early stage digital health and sustainability companies.
His industry leadership and academic affiliations include Chair, UCSF Rosenman Institute, Senior Advisor for the Mussellem Center for BIODESIGN at Stanford University and Member of the UCLA Anderson School Board of Advisors.
He received his AB in Economics from Stanford University and his MBA in Finance from the University of California, Los Angeles.
