Paul Mullin is the co-founding partner and principal of Flatiron Development Group, a firm known for collaborating with leading developers, operators, and owners of age-restricted, independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing communities.

Paul has helped deliver more than $900 million in senior housing and multifamily projects, including over 5,000 residential beds across 100+ Active Adult, Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing properties.

Currently, Flatiron is developing several next-generation communities throughout the United States. In 2025, Flatiron is one of the only development companies to break ground on a new stand-alone Memory Care community for its operating partner, Anthem Memory Care, demonstrating the firm’s ability to execute in challenging market cycles.

His expertise spans turnaround projects, ground-up development, stabilized assets, and joint-venture partnerships, supported by strong relationships across operators, health systems, and financial institutions.

Paul holds a B.A. from UC Santa Barbara and an MBA in Real Estate Finance from the USC Marshall School of Business, where he served as class president. He is active in several industry organizations, including Vision Centre, ARGENTUM’s Workforce Development Committee, NIC’s Future Leaders Council, and the USC Marshall Alumni Board of Advisors.
